Habitat for Humanity Goochland County is looking for a Program Administrator to work part time in a support role.
Program Administrator/Director for Habitat of Goochland Part Time, Contractor Position This position will provide high level support to the Board of Habitat For Humanity of Goochland. Duties may include but are not limited to:
Recruiting, hiring, training staff in the store
Assisting in grant money solicitation process
Preparing for Board meetings, taking notes at Board Meetings and distributing them to Board Members before next meeting for approval
Providing administrative support to the President and Executive Committee including reports and other documents
General Administrative skills including answering phone messages, analyzing incoming messages and replying or passing them on to relevant Board Member
Skills/ Abilities Required: o Excellent verbal and written communication skills o Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail o Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines o Excellent knowledge of office administration, clerical procedures, and recordkeeping systems o Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software with ability to learn new or updated software o Understanding of how charitable organizations work and some experience with fundraising including a basic knowledge of fundraising software o General administrative skills including answering phone messages, analyzing incoming messages and replying or passing them on to relevant Board Member
